In the short time I have been a golfer (6 -7 yrs) I have played with others that have great distance off the tee while I am lucky to get 150-170 off the tee but I end up scoring better due to my short game. While I prefer to see more distance, I am glad to work on consistently staying out of trouble with my drive so that I can count on my short game to score better. As they say "drive for show, putt for dough".
